Most people download not the IPv6. I wonder why. Please post why you don't wanna use IPv6.
Two ideas:
- most people still don't use or need IPv6 at all
- downloads are in section marked "Experimental Builds" and use modified source - sounds dangerous :)
Those were my thoughts as well. The warning of modified sources is dangerous sounding but it was felt that anything other than a unmodified build should be labeled plainly as such so there are no surprises. Just something that was deemed appropriate to keep us out of hot water. Although we have never released a version that failed to be released by the ASF to cause this kind of stir, there are hints throughout that clearly saying "this has been modified" should keep us safer than saying nothing at all.

Personally, I use the IPv6 internally since a couple machines I have will handle it in the hosts file. I've been building my Apache with IPv6 since 2.2.9. It's been in use by many others long enough that I think it's no longer "Experimental," but it's better to err on the safe side and leave that there.
Now in America, there may be some little ISPs already on the bandwagon but looks as if Comcast is the first major player to try and start working towards IPv6 from my reading on the NANOG list.
