Title: Apache Software Foundation becomes ten years old / apache.org 10th anniversary

The foundation is the forge of many well known Open source projects.
The best known project ist the httpd server mostly known  as apache web server now version 2.2.11
The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) was founded in 1999 which came from the Apache Group. All apache project are published under the apache license. All over the world people working on ASF projects.
The ASF was founded by the Apache web server core team. Some other projects are Active Directory server, the Java EE server Geronimo and the free implementation of Java Harmony.
The ASF want tp use the anniversary year to present single projects and persons.

I was going to say, I've been using Apache since July 1998, almost 11 years
