Since 2.4 it not that fare away. What do you wanna have in Apache 3?
Complete new source?
Do it like 2.4 from the 2.2 sources?

Honestly, I don't want. I don't want another round of well ... Apache 2.0, what a turd it was, took a long time to hammer out all the bugs. I'm liking 2.4, I was looking at it's ram consumption and both processes were using under 3 megs.  2.2's in the 20 megs range at idle.
