Recently ive been trying to tinker around with apache 2.4.9 which downloaded from apachehaus. The first time i downloaded it it ran perfectly fine, giving me the test page when i directed my browser to 127.0.0.1:80. It did give an error though which was >>> httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 39 of D:/Programs/Apache24/conf/httpd.conf: ServerRoot must be a valid directory. It did however just run anyway. After having a mixup and accidentally deleting some files out of the folder i decided to re-extract apache and start again only to find i got the same error only it wouldn't open this time. I cleared this error up by manually specifying the directory on line 39 but the program just keeps moving down the list, finding error after error. I fixed about five before i got frustrated and gave up. Any Ideas?
