Title: Weird apache redirect
Post by: murraybill on December 20, 2013, 07:56:32 AM
Hi All,

I have one of my client reporting me about a strange redirect happening to his site. As per him after a few successive access, a particular link redirects to entirely different url, which is not expected.

I think some kind of apache module inject happened to apache. And as a result after some random click( maybe 1 per day) is getting redirected to malicious urls.

Please let me know if there is a way by which this can be prevented.

Apache version is 2.4.6

Thanks,

Are you sure that it is apache related? I would think it might be an infection from your code / page.
