I've seen mod_proxy_websocket in trunk yesterday. Might be interessting.

I understood the proxy part of it's name ;) 

As my email of last night shows, I see what uses them. I just forgot to include the example html pages in that .7z I sent you.

I also played with using it and mod_reqtimeout and noticed as mentioned on dev@, it doesn't play well with websockets. It doesn't close the connection as mod_reqtimeout is configured at 20 seconds, but it does eventually kill it.

This however only happened on the echo example, the increment one kept running as it should.

I wonder why the heck he renamed it to tunnel. I thought it is the bi-directional communication thing...
