It's been proposed. Not only that, it seems a necessity from what I understand. I do not know why it has not been included in prior versions.

I'm already building this and mod_xml2enc in tree, only two not built in tree is mod_security and mod_geoip

Speaking of mod_security, I'm feeling lazy, care to build mod_security/2.6.2 for 2.2? Use pcre 8.12 and not 8.13 per the problem with 8.13 mentioned over on AL.

Never mind, I had done it but was waiting to see what all was going on per that problem reported at AL with the core rules suddenly not working with 2.6.2. I have them both, just need to redo the x86 one as it was built on pcre 8.13, so will do that now and try to get them up later this evening US time
