Now with 2.2.18 there is IPv6 support not lnger experimental. WOOOT to that.
Thanks to Gregg! He made the 2.2.18 for us! You can find it on the download page (http://www.apachehaus.com/cgi-bin/download.plx)!
I wonder! Running httpd it created two httpd.exe.PID files.
While running these files are empty. After shutting down apche in each file is
000007FEFF8D0000 00000001 00001264 LoadLibraryA() .\misc\win32\misc.c:172
Apache doesn't crash. But I don't like it :-/ Is this a bug report worth?
I do not like it either. I've been getting them on Vista with 2.2 & 2.3. Looking at XP real quick I see they are there too with 2.2.11+.
Seems to be an APR thing.

That said, whenever a new APR comes out, guess it'll mean a rebuild of 2.2.18. Of course, a new APR might be months away. I might want to rebuild with just that patch against the released 1.4.4. Will think about it when the time comes but those files suck!

Reading this makes me want to go to San Diego again and visit you :)
Hey, check out the LoadLibrary thread on httpd-dev .. folks have been bitching plenty.
Yeah, it's been nice ... should of been here Monday, my friend and I went to Knotts ... why I was "out-of-town." 3 of the coasters were just fantastic, place was rather empty so I only waited in line for one ride the entire day, but still a good bit of eye candy to look at as well. ;D
Quick tally of 2.2.17 downloads is 3335. Need to look but think that's double 2.2.16.
Non-SNI x64 wins at 945
Non-SNI x86 second at 620
SNI x64 third at 540
OK, Bill just attached a patch to my mail. Will redo today.
uploading r2s to mirrors now
and the r2s are up on the download page.

I've check it. My 2.2.15 (x64) doesn't create that files. 2.2.17 (x64 and x86) also don't create that files. 2.3.11 neither.
Yes which is why I did the -r2 with this trivial patch
