I've set up a new board for announcements of mainly new releases. Only Mario and I can post to it so no spammers ever will. If you have previously set a watch on News & General Discussion, you might want to change it to Announcements.

This way you will not receive an email every time a spammer happens to make it onto the board. This will also keep the announcements free of reply. If you need to reply to one, just start a new thread in an appropriate board for the subject. I get an email anytime a new topic is started anywhere in the forum, Mario may as well.

Today marks the first announcement on that board for OpenSSL Updates.
