In the next few days per Jim's email he will be tagging 2.3.14. The ldap issue however is not sorted out so here are our options.

1. Build with the older ldap that builds.
2. Build with APR 2 and beg forgiveness when the wrath of fury comes from the APR project for distributing an unreleased version.

I'm leaning on #1 obviously, it seems the safest route however there is no guarantee that authn_ldap is going to work due to the load order problem that seemed to start the second portion of this mess in the first place. The first obviously was dumping ldap into httpd.

The only other thing I see viable is to jump into that heated discussion over ldap currently in progress and ask simply "what about APR 2 not being released does not constitute technical grounds for reverting this change in question."  This is something I prefer not getting into the middle of.

Oh bah, I don't know what I'm talking about! I just built from svn with no problems. Just have to add AP_HAS_LDAP to the preprocessor options in mod_ldap & mod_authn_ldap

Can't sleep when it 78+ Fahrenheit  and 90% humidity. This is day 5 of this misery but it looks like it will end in another 5.

New modules coming in 2.3.14 provided I get my patches together by then. mod_log_debug and mod_proxy_express. Both are building for me with a little nudge to log_debug. It's probably a module that will never get used but who knows for sure.

I noticed Stefen had a mod_proxy_html for 2.3 available, I suppose I should add that one as well. The mmn has bumped since then so he will have to compile it and the others again for 2.3.14.
