mod_proxy causing Apache crash
« on: February 02, 2017, 06:08:46 AM »

My platform is Windows Server 2012 R2, I have Apache configured to Load Balance between two TomCat Servers using Proxy AJP. Without failure I get a crash in mod_proxy. This has me completely blocked on this version of Apache. There is a bug fix already in the Apache source control system for this issue. We just need a re-spin of the distribution. I am using Subversion on another server using this Apache and I need the Subversion modules. My repository is 1.9.x. Code base 1.9.5.

Just curios which VC version your Apache is. VC14 is C99 not that it means anything since it's Windows.
I'll build new patched mod_proxy's.

Hi Gregg,
I have both VC14 and VC11 of Apache 2.4.25 both fail with same issue. The VC11 version is more complete since I need Subversion for one of the host in the system configuration. I need Subversion 1.9.x would love to have 1.9.5.

As for Subversion, Mario is the one that has built them in the past, maybe he has time to do it again. I've never had success at it.

Post a request for it in the 3rd Party Modules section here and we'll see.

Hi Gregg,
Many thanks for the quick turn around. I will put the patch into some of my test boxes and keep you posted. I will also reach out to Mario and see if I can get a spin of 1.9.5. Again, many thanks. Have a good week-end. :o
