Title: Specifically Apache 2.3
Post by: Gregg on August 24, 2010, 02:27:33 AM
I thought I'd add this board to track things specific to Apache 2.3.x-alpha soon to become beta. What works, doesn't work as expected or simply doesn't work! Also for discussion of configuration of the beast, which is a bit different in some places, access control is one example. Tips & tricks, whatever as long as it is specific to Apache 2.3.x.

I think from PHP site there won't be a mod_php. AFAIK it will be only over fcgid. So it is recommend to test that cenario before there is a need to upgrade from 2.2 to the next version  ;)

Well Jim Jagielski wrote today on the devlist

I plan to T&R 2.3.9-alpha within 2 weeks (not sure how much "free time"
I'll have this week @ ACNA). Ideally, my plan is to then release a beta
the start of Dec and a GA Jan of 2011.

So it might be in just a month until the beta is comming.
