Has anyone given a try at using mod_ftp with Apache 2.3?

I have, it builds fine, loads fine, but will not connect it seems ... for me anyway.

Maybe I should try on the Atom too, since I was using local builds on this miserable Vista laptop. I really do need to upgrade it to Win7, just too cheap to.
