Hi,

I have installed apache 2.4 using apache haus. Service is started successfully.
But when i access http://localhost i always get Apache Haus test page. But as per Apache 2.4 documentation i should get "It Works!" in browser.

Can someone please advise?

No that is correct, that is our custom "It Works" page is all.
So if your seeing that, It Works!

Hi,

Today i observed that i am getting 'Apache Haus tes page' though apache service is no started. Does it mean installation is not correct.

Are you sure it's not running? Services start automatically when the computer is powered on (even if your not logged into the desktop).

To check, open Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services dialog and look for the service listed there.
Does it show "Stopped"?

If it does, then it may be the browser has cached the page. Try http://127.0.0.1 instead of localhost, does it still show the test page?
